Winter Solstice
Today marks the end of Autmn’s long nights and the start of the journey out of darkness. The sun begins to return and the days lengthen, bringing more light. Metaphorically, that which was hidden in the dark, can now come into light. Prompting poetry in my mind.
Soltice
An advent of inner spring
Where crisp mornings and new beginnings
seem to ring at the door
where the bell calls us
to the new journey ahead
