It takes time to figure out

my place

in the grand order of things

a whole

lifetime

Unsettling

to not know

to remain there a little

discomfort on my chest and in

my legs

spinning like the globe itself

slow and fast simultaneously

I can’t miss a turn

will there come another?

Bowing deep as waters calm

and crystals form

in the otherwise troubling water

Not forgetting this time

the parcels I was given

Confetti and tears

I stand tall

with history in my back

and the future

before me

I rise

I fall

I rise again

everything is already happening
